EVERYBODY'S DYING HERE
With a guitar in one hand and a camera in the other, Ali Gardoki shows us what it's like to be the only all-girl garage band in Mexico City's mucho macho musical underground. SONIC CINEMA: SPARKLEHORSE
To accompany their album "It's a Wonderful World," Sparklehorse asked acclaimed film and video artists to create a series of music videos. THE ATLAS MOTH
Last year's festival's surprise hit was "Driver 23," an offbeat, funny documentary about a delivery driver in Minneapolis who is convinced he will be a heavy metal superstar, but whose mental imbalance throws his energies in odd and unfocused directions. In "The Atlas Moth," we revisit Dan Cleveland and his band, tracing another 3 years in their journey from obscurity to lesser-obscurity. It's the speed metal version of "American Movie."
Dir. Rolf Belgum, USA 2001, 75 min.

Preceded by:
SOUL ASYLUM - SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING
Shot from 1988 through 1990, this was initially commissioned to promote Soul Asylum's then-upcoming album "...And the Horse They Rode In On". A decade later, the footage has been assembled to reveal the band in all their glory - writing songs, playing live and drinking.
Dir. Phil Harder & Rick Fuller, USA 2001, 31 min.

VINYL
Is it possible to have hundreds of thousands of records and still lead a normal life? If you have to move records out of the way to make it to the bathroom or if you've memorized the track listings for every K-Tel collection, are these warning signs? Enter the often unusual, sometimes slightly sad world of obsessive record collectors and discover what happens when you have one record too many.
Dir. Alan Zweig, Canada 2000, 120 min.
