The Mosser Hotel in San Francisco is the official 2008 Noise
Pop Festival hotel partner and is offering a special discounted rate from
February 26 through March 2nd. Located in downtown San Francisco
(on 4th Street between Market and Mission. this historic property originally
opened in 1913 as the Keystone Hotel, and has offered a delightful experience
for Bay Area visitors for almost 100 years. In 1981, Charles W. Mosser
purchased the hotel and after an extensive renovation in 2003, he renamed
it The Mosser. The Mosser offers a unique, care free culture mixed with
the splendor of yesteryear. This is apparent in the fusion of Victorian
architecture mixed with modern interior design.

MUSIC SUBMISSIONS
Thank you for your interest in submitting to play Noise Pop! Noise Pop is accepting festival submissions exclusively through OurStage.com. To begin, create your free OurStage account through OurStage.com/noisepop and upload your best song for review. The Noise Pop team will listen and consider all submissions to the OurStage Noise Pop 2008 music channel, and will select one artist from the Top Ten ranking submissions as decided by fans per month. Your friends and fans can help you make it to the Top-ten by visiting OurStage and voting for your song.
To submit for Noise Pop 2008 you must register through OurStage.com/noisepop and enter a song that best represents your sound. It's free to enter and all bands are welcome to submit. In keeping with the Noise Pop sound, musical genres accepted are: alternative/indie, pop, rock, acoustic, electronic, and punk. The more fans you get to vote for you, the better your chance for a slot at Noise Pop 2008, so tell all your friends to sign up and vote for you through the Noise Pop 2008 channel. Travel expenses will not be covered for those chosen to play the festival.
Even if you don't get selected to perform as part of Noise Pop 2008, OurStage is a great way to gain increased exposure and the opportunity to win $5,000 and other great prizes each month. FILM SUBMISSIONS
Noise Pop is once again accepting submissions for the Noise Pop Film Festival
which will take place during Noise Pop on February 26 - March 2, 2008.
We will watch any kind of film or video narrative feature, documentary,
short, animation, experimental or music video, but it must explore the
connection to music, either in its subject matter, the talent behind or
in front of the camera, or an exceptionally prominent soundtrack.
All films and videos in a foreign language must have English subtitles.
Championing independent culture, past Noise Pop screenings include a secret
sneak preview of "The Fearless Freaks" Flaming Lips documentary, "X:
The Unheard Music," "Directions: Death Cab for Cutie," "A
Skin Too Few - The Days of Nick Drake," and Vertov's "Man With
a Movie Camera" with a live original score by Oranger - Theremin and
all.
