Paper Brain
Paper Brain is an indie-pop trio based in Portland, Oregon. Mike Wroblewski started writing and recording songs on his 4-track cassette recorder in Eugene, Oregon. Mike’s sister Jeni began playing bass and Mike looked to his friend, Adam Zavala to complete Paper Brain. Mike, Jeni, and Adam began practicing more frequently and played their first show at Ground Kontrol in Portland on January 19, 2007. They have a simple, unconstrained style that is both melodic and melancholic. Paper Brain recorded their first full-length album in three days at Gas House Recording Studio. The self-titled album was released on July 13, 2007. They are currently mixing songs for a second still untitled album.
