Molly Marlette
At 20 years old, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Molly Marlette has been honing her musical skills from a young age, having taken more serious focus in recent years. Citing influences from Lou Reed, Carole King and Chet Baker to Jenny Lewis, Elliott Smith and Belle and Sebastian, Marlette’s debut EP, 2008’s The Allumette, is a collection of pop songs that are both quirky and fragile, such as “Sleep Must Heal The Heart” and title track “The Allumette.” Her newest single, “The Dandelion Waltz,” is available now.
