It takes seven—including guitar, trumpet, accordion, drums, and upright bass among other instruments—to realize Here Here's symphonic pop sound in the live setting. Their ornate, string-laden debut EP, The Boy With an Orange, was mostly recorded solo by singer/multi-instrumentalist Christian Lyon, around whom the San Francisco-based group's ranks have swelled to their present lucky number. To date, they've already opened for Fleet Foxes, Super Furry Animals, and Blitzen Trapper, and their well-crafted tunes should take them to even higher places and bigger stages. MICHAEL HARKIN
