Unnatural Helpers
Unnatural Helpers are a four piece punk outfit from Seattle who are trying to continue the once-lived, ephemeral yet influential rock scene in their hometown. Predisposed to a category of grunge-y punk rock, evident on their 4-song 7" release on Sub Pop late last year, the band has played with such acts as Atlanta-based Black Lips. Powering through short songs, their poppy guitars carry a heavy croon and their drums are wild but not crazy, all sustained by frenzied vocals. CAROLINE PARTAMIAN
