Girls
San Francisco's Girls are a varied and engaging group, playing a mix of shoegazer rock and disarming organ induced pop that intoxicates and hypnotizes. Deftly moving from slow and somber tales to exhilarating and driving rock, Girls create a sound that is simplistic and easy, while maintaining a sincere styling that constantly surprises and excites. Songs like "Lauren Marie" conjure up the Magnetic Fields synth laced musings, while others like "Lust For Life" paint an entirely different picture of angst and awkwardness set to a catchy and dreamy guitar jam.
