Visiting from New York in the summer of 2007, Kimi Recor first met multi-instrumentalist Rob Easson after being introduced by mutual friends in San Francisco. After 14 hours of writing music on their first day playing together, Recor soon realized she was here to stay. Specializing in high energy electronic pop, the duo released their debut The Only Years, rewarding them with top honors on several local Best Of '08 Lists.
